Gawd, the TAN clan is so big!!! If you find the pictures so crowded, let me tell you, that's not even half of the clan in my mother's side =) My mother has 9 siblings and most of my aunts/uncles have 2-4 kids. Grabeh! We always celebrate New Year's Eve in Manongol, Kidapawan while Christmas Day is at Kidapawan Poblacion, father's side. Just click the thumbnails for bigger pics. Oh yeah, the last photo is of Lola, showing off her gorgeous bracelet gift from Uncle Toto. More photos HERE.

safest US city to have sex!
I really found a certain post in a love blog funny (reposted in full below). Imagine, there are now studies being done to find out what's the safest US city to have sex! Where is the world going to?? To a healthier and more responsible way I guess.. But definitely more liberal! Not that I'm complaining, lol! Below is the blog post taken from HERE --Want to know where to go for the safest sex in the U.S.? A new study compared contraceptive sales per capita of major U.S. cities, and the results are in. Would you believe Denver takes the cake? The index for female contraceptive use in Denver was 378, which was 278% greater than the average index of 100. For men, contraceptive use was at an index of 276, still 176% greater than the average.
Where does your city rank? Check out the full slideshow here.
And to think Coors Light had it right... For safer sex, all you have to do is tap the rockies.

be careful with your words..
Make sure you read all the way down to the last sentence. Most importantly the last sentence!
There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His Father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence. The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence. Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper.
The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone. The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said, "You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. WHEN YOU SAY THINGS IN ANGER, THEY LEAVE A SCAR JUST LIKE THIS ONE. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, THE WOUND IS STILL THERE." A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one.

"Friends are very rare jewels, indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed. They lend an ear, they share words of praise and they always want to open their hearts to us."
GUYS, YOU ARE MY FRIENDS AND I AM HONORED!
AND IF IN ANYWAY, I HAVE WRONGED YOU, PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR LEAVING A HOLE...

FREE ebook from Jonathan Leger!!!
THIS POST IS NOT FROM MY PHONE =)
If you don't know who he is, it only means one thing -- you're not on the internet to earn money via Google Adsense! Hehe! Jonathan Leger is an internet marketing expert and he just released a FREE ebook entitled "Search Engine Myths Exposed!" After the Google PageRank storm last year, I was scratching my head why my PR3 and PR2 sites all dropped to PR0. Experts says its because of the paid links in my blog and Google is penalizing me. I felt that "Google knows all and sees all" =( But Jonathan (in his ebook) refuted this and other Google myths (yeah, I know there are other search engines aside from Google but do they really matter?? lol). I had a blast reading his ebook and I learned a lot. If you want to make money off Google Adsense (by building content-rich blogs and niche sites), you should read "Search Engine Myths Exposed!" =) As I said it's FREE and you can download it HERE (signup needed). This is FRESH guys! Released just 3 days ago! =)

the US presidential election
THIS POST IS NOT FROM MY PHONE =)
I really like watching the current US presidential primaries happening in key cities of America these days (Iowa, New Hampshire, etc). I love their idea of just fielding two candidates of opposing ideologies (no middle ground here) to run for the presidential race. But first, before the final two are selected, the presidential hopefuls will run against people from their own party, i.e. for Democrats its largely Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama. This part is the PRIMARY, and only selected states are chosen to vote. In Iowa, Obama won while in New Hampshire, Clinton won (reportedly because she cried and got the voters' sympathy, lol). The US presidential election will be on November and I hope by that time, the US economy will be back in full swing! I earn dollars online and it really sucks that $1 is only P40 now! Apparently it's not because our peso is getting stronger but because the US economy is experiencing recession. Tsk!

:: serious mode ::
I rarely get to photograph Labsie in a pensive mood. Often he does funny faces for the camera. Cute but his classic looks are made for better pics like one :-) This photo was taken while we were exploring LAKE SEBU by boat. We went there with my family last December 28 and boy, it was cold! Lake Sebu (in South Cotabato) is famous for their tilapias, and the viands we had in Punta Isla Resort did not disapoint. YUM!Ü

Happy New Year!
Hi guys! Sorry for the lack of updates! Aside from being very busy during the Christmas season, Blogger and my phone have been acting up -- I can't post in this blog from my phone since mid-December! :-( Anyway, as part of my 2008 to-dos, I'm applying for a student driving permit now. The document I filled up is pictured above. I'm scared to drive but I'm willing to try! Wish me luck!Ü
